Your Gift of Nature will help us keep an eye on our native hedgehogs.

Spotting a hedeghog is your garden was once a common sight but recent surveys have found that hedgehog numbers have halved in some areas over the last 20 years. We desperately need to gain a greater understanding of why hedgehogs are disappearing before it is too late.

Some examples of ways we can find this out include improving monitoring techniques by trialing hedgehog footprint ink traps, GPS tracking devices and analysing slugs and worms!

Your gift will go towards funding our upcoming 3 year Hedgehog Project that will include the above research projects and national surveys. You will receive an illustrated thank you card explaining your gift and a hedgehog postcard with space to add a personalised message.
