latest UK mammals grants
People’s Trust for Endangered Species is pleased to announce this year’s UK mammals grants, totaling over £82,000 funded by our generous supporters.
These research projects include:
Dr Lisa Collins, Queen’s University, Belfast, £9 615 for red squirrels.
Mr Neil Reid, Queen’s University, Belfast, £4 000 for Irish hares.
Mr Johnny Birks, Swift Ecology and Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, £18 595 for Bechstein’s bats.
Mr Richard Grogan, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, £5 250 for dormice.
Dr Paul O’Donoghue, University of Chester, £17 350 for wildcats.Ms Zoe Pittaway, formerly FWAG, £12 000 for bats.
Ms Gina Rowe, Warwick Wildlife Trust, £10 582 for dormice.
